The Bissell Covered Bridge is a one span variation of a Long Truss with a total length of 92 feet. The bridge is currently closed, being bypassed by a temporary brige carrying MA 8A. The Bissell Bridge crosses Mill Brook just north of Charlesmont. The bridge is the second covered bridge at this location being built in 1951. |
